
Proud Sponsor of Innovation at the Financial Innovation Awards 2009
On 3rd December, we were delighted to be the lead sponsor of innovation at this year’s Financial Innovation Awards hosted by the ifs School of Finance in the New Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden. As well as overall sponsor of innovation we also supported the ‘Most Innovative Application of Technology – Customer’ award.
As the industry’s leading award ceremony, this is the place to be seen in the financial services calendar – and Worksmart certainly was! We hosted a private table with our guests, presented an award and rubbed shoulders with over 500 leaders from a wide range of major financial services organisations as well as host Georgie Thompson and after dinner speaker James Cracknell. We also appeared on all pre and post event literature, online branding of the awards and in Financial World!
The awards celebrate initiatives that bring exceptional results to the financial services industry. There were 17 awards up for grabs that span the breadth of the industry from retail banks and building societies to insurance services and investment banking.
We would like to congratulate all the winners of this year’s awards. Wonga.com is a ground-breaking online lender that is transforming the UK credit market.
